#DishaEncounter Trailer: A spine-chilling incident which still haunts India
The charred body of the 27-year-old victim was found on November 27, 2019, the police identified her as an assistant veterinarian of a state-run hospital. She was raped, burnt, killed by four drunk men and thrown aside at was found at Chatanpally bridge near Shadnagar town in Rangareddy district. This is a true-crime incident no one could ever forget about. Among the most heinous rape crimes that occur every single day, this is one. This horrendous incident has laid a whole new foundation of fear and insecurity among women who try sinking in the society which is already extremely stereotypical. The case closes when 4 of the rapists were incarcerated and put into Chenchalguda jail. Later the Hyderabad police killed them during an alleged escape attempt which most of the people now think the whole incident was staged and that the accused were the prey of police brutality.
Based on this traumatizing incident, controversial director Ram Gopal Varma took a step up and has made a film that has been titled "Disha Encounter". RGV has taken it to Twitter and has released the trailer of this film which portrays the reel version of this merciless incident. There is nothing interesting or thrilling aspect in this trailer, there isn't supposed to be. This film is an attempt which is meant to show people what exactly happened with various points of view. The trailer has no dialogues or a cliche storyline which we see in every other trailer, it begins with where the incident started and ends with annoyingly loud sounds of bullets and people protesting for justice.
Disha encounter is being directed by Anand Chandra and will be releasing on November 26th of 2020.
