Devara OTT Rights Deal For A Jaw-dropping Amount!

Undoubtedly, one of the most highly anticipated films of the year is the pan-India action drama "Devara," directed by Koratala Siva and starring NTR. This big-budget extravaganza marks the Tollywood debut of Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor, with Saif Ali Khan playing the main antagonist.

Last year, OTT platform Netflix acquired the digital streaming rights for "Devara." Recent reports from Tollywood circles suggest that Netflix has secured the OTT rights for all languages by paying a staggering Rs 155 crore, making it one of the biggest deals in Telugu Cinema’s history.

Currently, "Devara" is in production in Goa, with a significant portion of the shoot already completed. NTR’s brother, Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, is co-producing the project along with Mikkilineni Sudhakar’s Yuvasudha Arts. The film features music by acclaimed Tamil composer Anirudh Ravichander and is scheduled for a theatrical release in the latter half of 2024.
