The much-awaited movie Lal Salaam, featuring Superstar Rajinikanth alongside Vishnu Vishal and Vikrant in prominent roles, arrived in theaters last Friday. However, it didn't receive enthusiastic reviews, especially in the Telugu states.

Surprisingly, on its opening day in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, many screenings were canceled, which left industry insiders shocked. Unfortunately, the film failed to strike a chord with audiences due to various reasons, resulting in disappointing performance at the box office. Even though people usually have high expectations for a Superstar's film, Lal Salaam struggled to attract viewers even during its first weekend.
