Akkineni Naga Chaitanya's bilingual cop action drama, Custody, is all set to hit the theaters on May 12, 2023. Ahead of its release, the film's makers hosted a pre-release event in Hyderabad on Thursday night.

During the event, director Venkat Prabhu created a buzz among fans by confirming that he would speak completely in Telugu at the Custody 2 pre-release event, indirectly hinting that a sequel to Custody is in the works.

Custody features Krithi Shetty as the female lead, while Priyamani and Arvind Swami play significant roles. The film's music is composed by Ilaiyaraaja and Yuvan Shankar Raja.
