Bollywood's OG comedian Chunky Pandey's daughter Ananya Pandey made her debut back in 2019 with Karan Johar's romantic-comedy Student Of The Year 2 co-starring with Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria. It was a successful hit for the first film, Ananya's second film was Pati Patni Aur Woh co-starring Kartik Aaryan and Bhumi Pednekar. This film blew up the box office and ended up being a blockbuster hit. With his daughter achieving such high feats in the industry effortlessly, Chunkey Pandey, as a father, feels overwhelmed and proud of his beloved daughter. In an interview, Chunky Pandey was asked about several things, one of them being his opinion on his daughter's career. He stated, "I am very, very proud of her and her hard work and dedication. Her quest to learn and constantly update herself is appealing. I am really grateful for these two lovely years she's had and there are many, many more years to come, hopefully."

Not so recently, Ananya was also questioned about her journey so far in the Bollywood industry. She quoted, "It's been such a wonderful journey these past two years and I'm truly so grateful and blessed to be living my dream. I wouldn't be here without the love, encouragement, wisdom, and advice from all the people I am surrounded by. I'm forever thankful to all the technicians, directors, DOPs, and actors I've worked with because I've learned so much from every one of them which will be lessons I'll carry with me forever."
