The character played by the iconic actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan in Kalki 2898 AD has been praised from all corners. The film directed by Nag Ashwin has raked in an impressive total of Rs 1050 crore, making it the fifth highest grossing Indian movie ever.

In a special video released today, Kamal Haasan expressed his joy at Kalki's huge success. He shared, "Kalki is a massive hit and the numbers continue to rise. It's a moment of happiness for all of us. Out of my 250 films, not all of them receive this kind of attention. So, when we do, it's important to celebrate. It's a surreal feeling, not knowing exactly what we're doing but being completely engrossed in it."

In discussing the creation of his Yaskin character, Kamal shared, "Nag Ashwin and I collaborated on bringing Yaskin to life. He handled the sculpting while I wielded the hammer. Together, we crafted the character and brought it to the screen." Reflecting on his limited screen time, Kamal mentioned, "I was aware that my role in the film was brief, but I embraced it wholeheartedly. I was even given the option to step out of the Yaskin getup if needed, but I was eager to dive deeper into the role."

Kamal expressed his excitement about the film, mentioning, "It was a pleasure to work alongside some of India's biggest stars on this project. Nag Ashwin's playful approach, reminiscent of Singeetham, added a special touch to the film. Keep an eye out for more of Yaskin's antics in Part 2!
