Bollywood Stars To Debut On OTTs

Because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic which resulted in the theatres shut down, the craze for the OTT platforms got increased. As most of the audience are also preferring to watch the films at the comfort of their homes without taking risk by going to the theatres, the filmmakers are also showing interest by giving direct digital releases for their films. From small budget movies to star hero films, a bunch of movies are going to get digital releases. On the other hand, Bollywood stars like Akshay Kumar, Shahid Kapoor, and Hrithik Roshan are busy working on the debut web series.

Akshay Kumar is currently busy working for a web series titled, 'The End' for Amazon Prime Video. Hrithik Roshan is also marking his Bollywood debut with the official Indian adaption of 'The Night Manager'. Touted to be an action thriller, the web series will get streamed on Disney + Hotstar. Ajay Devgn is also working on his upcoming project 'Rudra' which is the official adaption of BBC crime drama, 'Luther'. It is also going to get streamed on Disney + Hotstar. Shahid Kapoor is also working on 2 web projects. One of them is for Amazon Prime video directed by Raj and DK and the other one is a war drama for Netflix.
