Bigg Boss 5: Things get rough and emotional between Siri and Shanmukh

This episode of Bigg Boss 5 begins with the pitiful aftermath of the nominations task. Priyanka starts getting a crisis about her relationship with Maanas and seeks advice from Sunny. She tells him that she is trying to separate her feelings from the game, but Siri's statements stuck to her mind giving her a dilemma. Maanas joins the conversation later and brainwashes Priyanka that she always gets saved by luck and tells her to be ready for elimination.

The next day, Bigg boss announces this week’s captaincy task where the captaincy of each contestant will be measured with the amount of gold.

The contestants become gold minors in this task and must mine as much gold as possible.

The two contestants who end up with the most gold must compete against each other. The winner becomes a captaincy contender. The same cycle will repeat several times until further notice from Bigg Boss.

In the middle of the task, Siri and Shanmukh have an emotional clash as the latter remembers his girlfriend and asks Siri to stay away. This does not sit well with Siri as she dashes into the bathroom and bangs the walls harming herself. Ravi comes to the rescue and tries cooling things between the two.

As for the task, Maanas gets access to the power room.

Bigg boss gives Maanas the chance to procure a power tool worth 25 gold balls. Maanas gives it to Sunny. A now consoled Siri and Shanmukh plot on stealing Priyanka's gold.
