This episode of Bigg Boss 5 begins with the continuation of the captaincy contender task. Bigg boss gives sunny the options of two power envelopes and asks him to pick one and read.
The one Sunny picks are that he gets to take half the gold of one contestant and give it to another contestant. Sunny takes half of Siri’s gold and gives it to Shanmukh.
Bigg boss asks Ravi the names of two players who have the most gold. Priyanka and Maanas are the ones who end up competing against each other. Later, Maanas and Priyanka play a sub-task. Priyanka wins this task and becomes the first captaincy contender.
The main task continues, and Siri steals gold from Ravi.
The next round of mining begins and Sreeram gains access to the power room. Bigg boss asks Sreeram to spend 30 gold to own the power tool. Sreeram chooses to buy the power tool.
The next mining round commences.
After the round finishes, Siri and Sunny end up having the most gold. Sreeram reveals his superpower as he rightfully demands all of Ravi’s gold for himself and sells his power to Ravi. The power turns out to be surrendering half of Ravi’s gold. But ironically, Ravi doesn’t have any gold, and Sreeram swiftly handles this situation to his benefit.
Later, Sunny and Siri compete against each other for captaincy contending. Since Siri can’t play in the pool due to personal issues, she chooses Maanas as her proxy. Siri wins the task.
