Bigg Boss 5: Players Get A Fair Shot At Captaincy Contending, But At What Cost?

This week's captaincy contender task is on fire as the Bigg Boss house is on lockdown, and the contestants must get their hands dirty (literally) to win their place back in the house and win a chance to be the captain!

This competitve episode of Bigg Boss 5 begins with the housemates discussing nominations. Everyone got emotional and intensely moved as the aftereffects of the mind-bending nominations task. Shanmukh and Siri talk about Vishwa playing the safest game. Shanmukh also gave up his letter for the sake of Vishwa in the nominations task, which led the former to think that way.

Frustration entails in the house as some of the housemates think that Ravi, Lobo, Vishwa and Sreeram are getting more and more sly and vicious.

The next day, Bigg Boss announced this week's captaincy contender task and put the house on lockdown. The housemates assembled in the garden area and received the task instructions. This task consisted of five rounds of special games. The winner gets to have his access to the house back.

Lobo and Shanmukh competed with each other in Round 1. The task in the first round required them to procure pearls from a tub filled with mud and dung. Shanmukh won this round and gained access to the house.

In the second round, Ravi and Siri competed. They had to procure glass bottles by a makeshift fishing rod from the pool. Siri won the round and gained access to the house.

Sreeram and Maanas competed in the third round. They were made to work out with heavy gym ropes. Whoever gives up first loses the round. Sreeram won the round by being patient and consistent. This task continues the next day.
