Bharath Interview On The Film Hunt

Hunt' will have action, crime, thriller elements along with emotion and friendship - Bharath Interview

Hunt' starring Nitro star Sudheer Babu in the lead role is produced by popular producer V. Ananda Prasad on Bhavya Creations banner. Directed by Mahesh, it stars Tamil hero Bharath in the lead role. He also reached out to the Telugu audience with boys, premasthe, yuvasena. For the first time, a straight Telugu film was made. In this, he is a police role. The film will hit the theatres on January 26 as a Republic Day gift. On this occasion, Bharath interacted with the media. Here's what the interview is all about...

You became famous in Telugu with the films Boys, Premaste and Yuvasena? So why did you take such a gap to act in Telugu films?

Bharath: My mainstream is Tamil. So... I concentrated more on the films there. There were opportunities in a row. I am busy with Tamil films. When director Mahesh came and narrated the script, I liked the story and made a film in Telugu after almost 12 years. Moreover... Sudheer Babu is a good friend of mine. We have also played cricket matches together in the CCL. Srikanth garu is also a bit close because of CCL. So.. All is well and this film is okay.

How's the story of The Hunt movie going to be? What's your role?

Bharath: The story revolves around the three of us (Bharath, Srikanth and Sudheer Babu). I played the role of an IPS officer named Aryan Dev. Director Mahesh liked the film Kalidasu in which I played a cop in Tamil. 'Hunt' has action, crime, thriller elements as well as emotion and friendship. I am confident that this film will help my market in Telugu as well.

It's been 20 years since you entered the industry. Are you happy in terms of career as a hero and not as an actor?

Bharath: I'm satisfied in terms of Kollywood, but no one can tell us when our place in the industry will be like. So... As an actor, I am constantly travelling with flops and hits. However, I am enjoying every movie process. That's what's important to me as an actor.

Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam... He is acting in all three languages. What are the differences between tollywood and other industries?

Bharath: Start, camera, action... That's what any language, any industry is! There are no big differences. But in the last five-six years, the scope and market of Telugu films has increased. Larjan Den Life stories are coming up with a brand new content. At the same time... The films here are being remade in other South languages and the films there are being remade here. So... Successful films in one industry are being remade by another industry.

Do you think the look for this film has changed a lot compared to your previous films?

Bharath: After seeing my look in the Tamil movie Kalidasu, director Mahesh wanted to be the same in this movie. Since the film was a hit, the sentiment will also work out.

Where did you shoot for this film? In what locations did you shoot?

Bharath: The story runs mainly in Hyderabad. Some of the action parts have also been shot in Hyderabad as well as in Paris. The action scenes have been well designed to suit the story and connect to the screenplay.

About Bhavya Creations and Producer Ananda Prasad garu...

Bharath: Bhavya Creations has made a very lavish and rich film without any hesitation in spending money. Foreign action choreographers have been roped in for the action episodes. He is a producer who wants to make a good film for the audience.

Do you think there are any plans for a sequel to this movie?

Bharath: Right now, we are positive about this project. If the audience appreciates it after its release and if the producers are okay, then there will be a sequel.

I have done a lot of roles in the last 20 years. Are there any roles that you strongly wanted to do a particular role?

Bharath: Everyone is approaching me with action, emotional and romantic scripts. But I want to act in a full-fledged comedy movie. I haven't done that kind of a role so far. So.. I'm going to be able to do it or not. I want to play a complete RAW agent as well. If I want to do such a story, I will definitely do it.

Do you often watch Telugu films? Who would you like to work with in Tollywood?

Bharath: I don't watch it regularly. Rajamouli, Trivikram, Sukumar.. I like their direction very much. I want to act with Allu Arjun in a film. I am watching his journey from Gangotri. At that time, I had to do the remake of that movie. I like him as an actor.
