Young hero Bellamkonda Sreenivas who faced back-to-back disasters in his career finally tasted success for the first time in his career with 'Rakshasudu' movie. The film which got released as the official Telugu remake of Tamil hit thriller film 'Ratsasan' became a big hit in Telugu as well. But, his recent outing, 'Alludu Adhurs' fell flat at the box office. Bellamkonda is now focused on his Bollywood debut movie which is the remake of the Telugu super hit film 'Chatrapathi' starring Prabhas. The pre-production works are in the final stages and VV Vinayak will helm the project. Now, it seems like Bellamkonda is trying to test his luck with another remake film.
Bellamkonda is all set to remake Dhanush's recent outing, 'Karnan' which received critical acclaim and became a super hit at the box office. Bellamkonda Suresh has acquired the Telugu remake rights of the film after watching the film. More details about the director and other cast and crew will get finalized very soon. Directed by Mari Selvaraj, 'Karnan' is loosely inspired by a real incident that took place in 1995 in Tamil Nadu’s Thoothukudi district. The shoot of the remake might start rolling once Bellamkonda Sreenivas completes the shoot of 'Chatrapathi' remake.
