SS Rajamouli, the innovative director behind the Baahubali series, just announced a new animated web series called Baahubali: Crown of Blood. You can catch all the action on Disney Plus Hotstar starting May 17. Don't miss out on this exciting addition to the Baahubali franchise!

We all know about how Bhallaladeva betrayed his brother Baahubali, but this animated series will take us back to the events leading up to that moment. The story revolves around the biggest challenge faced by the Mahishmati kingdom in the form of Raktadeva.

Ratkadeva, a ruthless conquerer, sets his sights on Mahismati after destroying many other kingdoms. Did he succeed in his conquest? How did Baahubali and Bhallaladeva defend their kingdom against this formidable enemy? The series will answer these questions as we see the brothers join forces to fight off the threat. Katappa, once a faithful general, now fights for Raktadeva. What led him to betray his kingdom? The answers will be revealed on May 17.

The web series was created by Rajamouli and Sharad Devarajan, with Kang and Navin John directing. Rajamouli, Shobu Yarlagadda, and Devarajan served as producers. We can't wait to see if this show will make a mark in the Indian OTT space. Let's stay tuned for more excitement!
