The celebrity couple of Bollywood actress Anushka and Indian Cricket Team Captain Virat Kohli was blessed with a baby girl on 11th January 2021. Anushka gave birth to the baby girl at Mumbai's Breach Candy hospital. The couple moved to the hospital earlier in the day as Anushka was having labor pains. Kohli took it to social media using his Twitter handle and shared the news. He quoted as saying that they were thrilled to share the news that they've been blessed with a baby girl on that afternoon. He also thanked all their well-wishers for their love, prayers, and good wishes. 

Virat updated about Anushka's health. He confirmed that the baby and the mother were both healthy. He expressed his joy and let know the fans that he was feeling beyond blessed to start this new chapter of their lives. As it was the couple's private space, he requested all to respect their privacy. Anushka took a break from the movies for her pregnancy, while Virat came back home mid-way from the ongoing Test series against Australia.
