Anupam Kher to essay the part of Jayaprakash Narayan in Emergency

After the disastrous movie Dhaakad, the Bollywood star heroine Kangana Ranaut is coming back with another movie called Emergency. Launched a few days ago, the movie is being directed by the actress herself.

Today, the makers have revealed the character poster of the veteran actor Anupam Kher. He is playing the role of the political leader Jayaprakash Narayan, well known as JP, who stood against Indhira Gandhi. The first look poster looks intense.

Emergency also has Shreyas Talpade, Bhumika Chawla and others in key roles. Renu Pitti and Kangana Ranaut are producing this movie under the Manikarnika Films banner. The movie will be released in theaters in 2023.
