Allu family's special tribute to Allu Ramalingaiah on his 99th birthday 

October 1 happens to be a very special day for the Allu family since it is the 99th birth anniversary of the legendary Allu Ramalingaiah who was one of the best comedians during the vintage era of the Telugu Film Industry.  

The news has it that the Allu family has worked on originating a state of the art film studio in the Gandipet area of Hyderabad. The film studio will be made as a tribute to the legacy of Allu Ramalingaiah. It will be spread on over 10 acres and will have remarkable resources and the most salutary facilities for filmmaking. This innovative studio will be an addition to the existing potential of film shooting and post-production studios in Hyderabad which boasts of Ramoji Film City, Annapurna Studios, Ramanaidu Studios and Sri Sarathi Studios.  

To describe briefly about this renowned personality, Allu Ramalingaiah has pitched in his finest comic work in evergreen movies like Mayabazar 1957, Goonda 1984, Chanti 1992, Kadhalan 1994, Missamma 1955 and the list goes on. His acting has never gone unappreciated. Allu Ramalingaiah won prominent awards like Padma Shri (1990),  Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award – South (1999), Nandi Award for Akkineni Award for Best Home-viewing Feature Film (1993), etc.
