Akshay's Film Gets Uttar Pradesh Set-up In Jaisalmer

Uttar Pradesh has been set up in Jaisalmer for Superstar Akshay Kumar's upcoming movie. Post lockdown he has been busy shooting for his projects. The actor commenced and completed the shoot of his upcoming movies like Bellbottom, in the pandemic and then continued to finish his scenes in Prithviraj and Atrangi Re. He has been leading the way to shoots. Akshay is now headed on to the much-awaited action-comedy, Bachchan Pandey. Its shooting began in Jaisalmer on a rocking note. Akshay Kumar’s new look for the film was unveiled and gathered much-required craze. The producers have now announced that the movie would be released on Republic Day 2022. 

The makers of the film have recreated Uttar Pradesh in the desert city of Jaisalmer. Its Havelis and other structures are old but strong and look beautiful on screen, one reason why they chose it. Even though Bachchan Pandey is set in Uttar Pradesh, the makers have chosen to shoot some important scenes in the Rajasthan city. Besides Akshay Kumar, Bachchan Pandey also stars Kriti Sanon, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi, Pankaj Tripathi, Prateik Babbar, Abhimanyu Singh, and Saharash Kumar Shukla. The movie is directed by Farhad Samji and is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.
