Akshay Kumar To Fly To Ayodhya For 'Ram Setu'

Mahurat shot of 'Ram Setu' to take place in Ayodhya

Bollywood star Akshay Kumar who recently wrapped up the shooting of his upcoming film, 'Bachchan Pandey' is all set to kick start the shooting of his next, 'Ram Setu'. As per the buzz, Akshay Kumar along with director Abhishek Sharma and creative producer Dr. Chandra Prakash Dwivedi will fly to Ayodhya on the 18th of this month and will complete the mahurat shot of the film. Akshay Kumar is currently on a vacation with his family in the Maldives. In the next few months, 80% of the film will be shot in Mumbai in multiple schedules. 

Director Abhishek Sharma reveals that Akshay Kumar is going to play the role of an archaeologist and his character is inspired by several Indian and international professional archaeologists. They are flying to Ayodhya as Dwivedi wanted to launch the production schedule with the blessings from the Holy temple of Lord Ram. Abhishek Sharma said that the idea was to gain a comprehensive understanding of the subject. Sharma summed up by adding that Ram Setu is a bridge between generations - past, present, and future. Producer Vikram Malhotra also asserted that there will be strict safety protocols to control covid-19 risks during their Ayodhya visit.
