In the post-COVID era, remakes haven't been doing too well, especially in the Hindi film industry. However, Ajay Devgn managed to defy the odds with two successful remakes: Drishyam 2 and Shaitaan. Despite his recent film Bholaa failing to impress, Ajay Devgn made a strong comeback with Shaitaan, solidifying his place in the hearts of the audience.

What's even more impressive is that Shaitaan, a film usually popular in metro cities, is doing exceptionally well in mass centers too, all thanks to Ajay Devgn's star power. With its impressive Sunday collections, Shaitaan has crossed the 100 crores nett mark at the Indian box office.

This marks the second film of Ajay Devgn after COVID to achieve this milestone, making it his 14th film overall. No one expected such a stellar performance, but everything changed after the release of a fantastic trailer.
