Ajay Devgan's 'Maidaan' Will Not Go For An OTT Release

The primary crew of Ajay Devgan's upcoming film 'Maidaan' have come forward to clarify and gun down all the alleged rumors on the film regarding its release.

The primary crew of Ajay Devgan's upcoming film 'Maidaan' have come forward to make some revelations. They clarify and gun down all the alleged rumors on the film regarding its release. The Maidaan crew issue an official clarification statement saying, "We would like to share that there is currently no conversation with any streaming platform for pay-per-view release of Maidaan. Our focus, at present, is to complete the film keeping everyone’s safety in mind and full compliance with protocols laid down by the government." They did say that they wouldn't be going for an OTT release but the makers of 'Maidaan' did not say that they would be going for a theatrical release yet either.

When it comes to the film shoot, we can't really say the shoot is going smoothly. Since the sets of 'Maidaan' are located in the outskirts of Mumbai, the cyclone wiped off the sets and perished its existence. Although there are no casualties, the set where Ajay Devgan was supposed to shoot the majority of the movie scenes is now gone. Though, this isn't the first time that 'Maidaan' has undergone such a drastic phase. Back in May 2020, a 16-acre high-maintenance set that the makers had created for the film had to be demolished because of the COVID-19 lockdown situation and bad weather reports.
