A while ago, it was said that the entire filming part of Acharya was wrapped up. Chiranjeevi then moved on to other projects and everyone thought Acharya had hit the post production phase.

But the latest updates are suggesting that Acharya is still in the filming phase. It is heard that there is still some pending portion left to be shot. It is unclear if this is actually the pending portion or if it is a reshoot.

Acharya is announced for theatrical release on 4th February 2022 and the pending shoot will have to be completed by the end of December in order to make sure that there are unforeseen delays as the film heads for release.
