Aadikeshava: Unfortunate Lukewarm Reception At The Box Office

Vaisshnav Tej's mass avatar in 'Aadikeshava' falls short of expectations, with a subdued response and low occupancy in the theatres.

"Aadikeshava," featuring Vaisshnav Tej in a mass avatar for the first time in his career, faced a lackluster reception upon its release on November 24 under Sithara Entertainments. Despite the low buzz surrounding the film, the weekend failed to uplift it, with minimal occupancy persisting in the following days.

Sreeleela plays the female lead in this Srikanth Reddy-directed venture, which had already faced two postponements, contributing to its lukewarm audience response. As the weekdays set in, the film's occupancy is expected to decline further, leaving uncertainty about Tej's next project.

Interestingly, the subdued performance of "Aadikeshava" has inadvertently benefited another release, "Kota Bommali PS," a cop drama gaining traction with positive word of mouth. The film, a remake of the Malayalam hit Nayattu, is witnessing an improvement at the box office, creating a contrasting narrative in the current film landscape.
