The film has Keerthy Suresh of Mahanadi and Penguin fame as the lady lead. According to the latest news, fans of Mahesh Babu created a World record. They created the world record as #SarkaruVaariPaata tag has become the first-ever title tag to get 100 million tweets on Twitter. Mahesh Babu fans achieved this feat much before the film shoot started. The title tag #SarkaruVaariPaata is trending across social media.

Mahesh Babu and Keerthy Suresh are pairing for the first time with the movie Sarkaru Vaari Paata, directed by Parasuram of Geetha Govindam fame and is produced by Mythri Movie Makers. The film Sarkaru Vaari Paata also marks the reunion of Mahesh Babu and S Thaman after a gap of seven years. Mahesh was last seen in Sarileru Neekevvaru, directed by Anil Ravipudi, and had the lead cast of Rashmika Mandanaa. The movie also marked the return of Vijay Shanthi to the silver screen.
