A famous star will be taking on a new role as a beggar in his upcoming movie!

The teaser poster and title reveal of Dhanush's upcoming movie, Kubera, sparked excitement among movie enthusiasts. In the teaser poster, director Sekhar Kammula showcased Dhanush in worn-out attire, standing in front of an image of Lord Shiva and goddess Annapurna.

According to a national media report, Dhanush will portray a beggar in this highly-anticipated film. The storyline will focus on Mumbai's Dharavi slum, with the protagonist originating from this area. The report also hinted that the character will evolve into a prominent mafia don. It seems like Kubera will narrate the journey of a man climbing the ladder from poverty to prosperity, as suggested by the title.

Tollywood legend Nagarjuna has a significant role, alongside the talented Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead. Additionally, Bollywood actor Jim Sarabh is set to play another crucial character. The movie is produced by Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao under the Sree Venkateswara Cinema banner.
