The teaser poster and title reveal of Dhanush's upcoming movie, Kubera, sparked excitement among movie enthusiasts. In the teaser poster, director Sekhar Kammula showcased Dhanush in worn-out attire, standing in front of an image of Lord Shiva and goddess Annapurna.

According to a national media report, Dhanush will portray a beggar in this highly-anticipated film. The storyline will focus on Mumbai's Dharavi slum, with the protagonist originating from this area. The report also hinted that the character will evolve into a prominent mafia don. It seems like Kubera will narrate the journey of a man climbing the ladder from poverty to prosperity, as suggested by the title.

Tollywood legend Nagarjuna has a significant role, alongside the talented Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead. Additionally, Bollywood actor Jim Sarabh is set to play another crucial character.
