1962: The War In The Hills, To Star Mahesh Manjrekar's Son

Mahesh Manjrekar launches his son Satya Manjrekar with the movie 1962: The War in the Hills. Satya Manjrekar is all set to make his digital debut with a war-epic movie, it is directed by none other than his father, Mahesh Manjrekar. Earlier, the father-son duo has worked collectively in a Marathi cinema and a Hindi movie Vaah! Life Ho Toh Aisi. Satya Manjrekar will be seen essaying the role of Gopal, the most junior soldier in the force of the C-company.  

The series also includes stars like Abhay Deol, Sumeet Vyas, Akash Thosar, Annup Sonii, Mahie Gill, and Rohan Gandotra. Details of the movie will be announced soon. It is going to be telecasted on Hotstar Specials, the series 1962: The War in the Hills is inspired by true events and reveals an untold story of valor and bravery and how an army of 125 Indians stood against 3000 Chinese. Satya Manjrekar shared his feelings working with his father and said that since childhood, his father has been an idol and inspiration to him both as an actor and a director. He also opined that few people possess both those talents supremely and his dad is one of them, i.e. talented yet humble.
