    Review

The movie started as a romantic entertainer with the female lead trying to woo Sharwanand. The story takes a toll as soon as Sharwanand's role gets into farming. The movie shifts from urban Hyderabad to a rural area near Tirupathi. The movie succeeded in impressing at times but it also felt like a regular farming story. Though the interval bang increases the expectations on the second half, the pace of narration got slowed down and the film became underwhelming.

Director Kishore B marked a solid debut with this film. He not only focused on the farming part but also gave equal importance to the story as well as the emotions in the movie. He also succeeded in delivering an inspirational message. Dialogues by Sai Madhav Burra are the highlight of the film. Music by Mickey J Meyer is the biggest plus point. Even his BGM is too good. Cinematographer did an impressive job in capturing beautiful visuals and showcasing the village backdrop in a realistic way. Production values are up to the mark.

Sharwanand is the crowd puller of this film. He carried the entire movie on his shoulders with his outstanding performance. His energy levels remained constant from the first frame to the climax and succeeded in justifying his role. Priyanka Arul Mohan looked beautiful and did a convincing job in her bubbly young girl role. Rao Ramesh is too good in the emotional sequences. Naresh is also impressive with his performance. Needless to mention that Sai Kumar gave his best performance.

    Verdict

'Sreekaram' is a watchable family entertainer with a regular and simple story on farmers and agriculture.
