Praja Rajyam is a Telugu drama, starring Krishna and Jayaprada, directed by M. Mallikarjuna Rao. Sivaramayya (Satyanarayana) and Ragavayya (Prabhakar) are two brothers. Gopi (Krishna) is Sivaramayya's son. Raja Rao (Rao Gopal Rao), sarpanch of the village, is a relative of theirs, but he holds a grudge against them.
