    Story

Dear Megha is a classic love story we get to come across often in romance novels and films. The plot of this film revolves around a bubbly college girl Megha (Megha Akash), who falls for a dense natured Arjun (Arjun Somyajulu). She tries her best to woo him, but Arjun doesn't bother acknowledging the presence of Megha and eventually leaves the college. This shatters the heart of poor Megha as she is forced to move on from the cruel guy she loved so much. Years drift away, and Megha comes across a warm personality, Adi (Adith Arun). Adi treats Megha passionately and kindly, just like she deserves to be. But Megha's peaceful relationship with Adi gets wrecked as Arjun waltzes himself into her life. Will Megha leave Adi for Arjun give up a fine man for someone who left her high and dry in the past? This question forms the entire crux of the film.

    Review

Dear Megha is a feel-good film to watch with a great climax experience. Let's begin with the acting element of this film. Even though with a cast that doesn't consist of mainstream big-shot actors, Megha Akash, Adith Arun, and Arjun Somayajula did a phenomenal job. Their acting was natural, flawless and it adapted well to the theme of this film. The story of this film isn't something unique but it was a wholesome plot to experience.

There was one specific drawback in this film and that was Megha and Arjun's so-called "past love story" could've used a little more passion and depth. The cinematography was done splendidly and the editing was decent. The arc where Megha and Adi date felt a little lagging and the song numbers that accentuated Megha's relationship with both the protagonists felt unnecessary.

Since it is a feel-good and light-hearted film it would be unfair to ask for a bit more kick and spice from it, but I would still prefer some more drama in Dear Megha.

The two greatest highlights in this film are the climax scene that concludes the fate of Megha and the melodious musical numbers that are worth swooning.

    Verdict

Dear Megha is worth a try if you're into love stories with angst. Other than that, this film is skippable.
