Circumstances bring Kannayya closer to Deepti. Just at that moment, Deepti’s brother Rama Raju (Sunil), a brutal cop with racist ideologies, makes his entry into the plot. Rama Raju believes that the color of the skin matters a lot, and particularly to the one who wants to marry his sister. The racialist brother plots all schemes to separate the love birds but will he succeed in his evil objectives? Will Kannayya’s love surpasses the color of his skin and gets him his lady love? Forms, the crux of the movie.
Review:
Suhas did a splendid job as the protagonist. The movie sees the rise of Suhas from a character artist to a lead in the movie. There is no doubt that Suhas is a talented artist, but this movie showcases him as a promising actor. The young actor excels in every area of acting in the movie. He is one actor to watch for in the comming years.
Though this is the first movie for Chandni Chowdary, she did a superb job as well. She has worked towards making this opportunity count. The emotions shown by her in certain scenes are exceptional, and especially the one in the climax fortifies her acting prowess.
Sunil, who is trying to make a comeback as a comedian, certainly proved a point that there are other shades in the actor to offer. The negative role portrayed by him in the movie was decent. Comedy scenes from
Viva Harsha is superb, and he takes everyone by surprise. The role played by Sri Vidya as Sunil's wife in the movie is also laudable. The Background score by Kaala Bhairava is impressive, and they conjure the audience to visualize yesteryears. Songs are certainly a plus point for the movie.
Verdict:
A decent entertainer worth watching with the family.
