    Story

One day, Teja decides to propose to Akshara. But, she kills him which give us a major twist. Why did Akshara kill Sri Teja? Why she became a teacher? What happens in the end? Forms the rest of the story.

    Review

The first half is quite boring with slow narration and regular story. The proceedings are also not handled well. But, the interval twist starts the actual story followed by some emotional episodes in the second half. From the interval bang, the director has executed the script neatly without any unnecessary scenes. However, the forced emotions and predictable proceedings will irk the audience.

Coming to the technical aspects, Director Chinni Krishna's efforts are worth praising and he took a daring step of discussing a burning issue as the main concept in his film. His screenplay and narration are very slow but he sure has succeeded in executing what he wants to convey in a convincing manner. Music by Suresh Bobbili is good and his BGM is also gripping. The cinematography is decent. Editing is crisp. Production values are limited but appreciable.

Nandita Swetha’s stellar performance is like the icing on a cake. She went under the skin of her character and did a convincing job. Especially, her subtle performance in a crucial press meet episode is too good. Harsha Vardhan's performance is superb. Sanjay Swaroop is decent in his role. Sri Teja and Satru acted well. Satya, Shakalaka Shankar, Madhu, and Ajay Gosh also emoted well.

    Verdict

To sum up, 'Akshara' is a decent social drama which mirrored the flaws in the corporate educational system and can be watched once.
