Ramesh (Ramesh Babu) is a famous singer with a big fan following. Mahesh (Ramesh Babu in a double role) is an inspector. Both Ramesh and Mahesh lead different lives without knowing about each other. The rest of the story is about their different problems and how they overcome it all.

Samrat is a Telugu romantic drama, starring Ramesh Babu and Sonam, directed by V. Madhusudhana Rao. Samrat (Ramesh Babu) lives with his mother, Rajya Lakshmi (Sharada) in a farm. His father was betrayed by his friend, Phani Bhushan (Ranganath), who is now very rich. Rekha aka Honey (Sonam), Phani's daughter and Samrat were childhood best friends and were betrothed to each other. Will things change for better for Samrat after meeting Honey?

Abhimanyu (Shoban Babu), the skilled and courageous son of Arjuna (Kantha Rao) learns how to penetrate the impenetrable Padmavyuha (Lotus Formation) in war but doesn't know how to get out of it. He falls for Uttara (Kanchana), daughter of King Virata and marries her with the help of Lord Krishna (N. T. Rama Rao). At war, he has to face the Padmavyuha where the Kauravas await with a dark plan.
