Babu (Master Ashwin) looks after his grandfather (Thilakan) who is bedridden. Balu (Suresh Gopi) is the old man’s nephew, but doesn’t talk to him anymore. He returns to the village when he learns that his uncle is on his death bed and wants to talk to him. Why did Balu stay away for all these years?

A man mysteriously comes across the dead body of his lookalike. Rameshan is a leading vendor in Maya Bazaar. He saves money to regularly feed patients at a local hospital. Maya (Sheela) lives in the vicinity and loves him. Their paths cross when a local gangster intends to forcefully marry her. Then suddenly, Rameshan comes across the corpse of his lookalike.
