Sooraj Pancholi is one of the noted actors in Bollywood who is known for his movies like Hero, Satellite Shankar, etc Sooraj Pancholi was born on November 9th, 1987 to popular Bollywood actors Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab Khan. He was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra and his grandfather Rajan Pancholi was a filmmaker. Sooraj Pancholi kick-started his career as an assistant director under Sanjay Leela Bhansali for Hrithik Roshan starrer Guzaarish movie in 2010. Later he worked under Kabir Khan for Salman Khan's Ek Tha Tiger movie in 2012. Finally, Sooraj Pancholi became an actor with Nikkil Advani's directorial 'Hero' in 2015. Later, he took a long gap of four years and appeared in Satellite Shankar movie. After taking another break for 2 years, Sooraj Pancholi played the lead role in Time To Dance which marked the Bollywood debut of Katrina Kaif's sister Isabelle Kaif. Sooraj Pancholi also appeared in GF-BF and Dim Dim Lights music videos with Jacqueline Fernandez and Larissa Bonesi respectively. Sooraj Pancholi won Stardust best Jodi of the year award with Athiya Shetty for Hero movie. He also received a Best Male Debut Filmfare Award for the same film in 2016. Sooraj Pancholi dated late actress Jiah Khan who committed suicide in June 2013. In her suicide note, Jiah Khan blamed her strained relationship with Sooraj Pancholi as one of the major reasons behind her death. Sooraj Pancholi was arrested and also got interviewed under suspicion. In 2018, Sooraj Pancholi was formally charged with abetting Jiah Khan's suicide. Sooraj Pancholi denied his involvement in Jiah's death and described himself as a scapegoat for her decision to end her life.
