Set during the 17th century, when the Mughals planned to capture the Kondhana fortress as the capital of South India and extend their empire. The Maratha Emperor Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj orders his loyal general Tanaji Malusare to capture Kondhana and protect Southern India from Mughal invasion. The Mughal emperor sent his trusted commander Uday Bhan to defend the fortress, The battle for the control of the fortress which decided the fate of Southern India is popularly known as the 'Battle of Sinhagad'.

Triplets Jai, Lava and Kusa are separated at a very young age and later reunited due to circumstances, until their independent lives and past resentments resurfaces and threatens to separate them.
