A respected lecturer is accused of obscene behaviour and it throws his life into disarray. Prakash (Ashok Kumar) becomes a lecturer and earns the admiration of all his students. Prakash and Lakshmi (Sagarika) are in love and plan to marry soon. Suddenly, women begin to accuse Prakash of misbehaving with them, including one who claims he is the father of her unborn child.
