Thooku Durai is a charismatic village chieftain who settles disputes among his people and strikes fear in the heart of his enemies. Disturbed by his involvement in feuds, his wife Niranjana leaves him, taking their daughter Swetha with her. Amidst action-packed scenarios, Thooku Durai goes on a quest to find his wife and daughter and win them back.

A London-based DJ rushes home to deal with an emergency and falls in love. Arjun (Arya) is a London-based DJ, who rushes to India to handle an urgent family matter. While travelling to his hometown, he meets Anu (Shriya Saran), a MBA student also from London, who is travelling to to see her ailing father. Love blossoms between the two but soon, complications crop up.
