When Sriramachandra Murthy (Murali Mohan) joins a village school, he finds that the village lacks any kind of civic sense. Things are made worse by Dhandanatham (Rao Gopal Rao), who aspires to be an MLA and his henchmen, Dakshinamurthy (Giribabu) and Vamanamurthy (Nutan Prasad). Rudhraiah (Satyanarayana) is a drunkard who raises his voice against these three. Sriramachandra and Rudhraiah then join hands to reform the village.

An orphan who works as a servant falls in love with the owner’s daughter. Kamaraju (Muralimohan) is an orphan who works as a servant for Lalitha (Sowcar Janaki), who gives him food and shelter in exchange. However, things take an ugly turn when he falls in love with Lalitha’s daughter, Kamala (Madhavi). Will love overcome socioeconomic boundaries?
