Bhuj: The Pride of India takes a portion out of 1971 India-Pakistan war to serve a story bursting with patriotism, songs and the heavy-duty dialogues that go with it. Ajay plays IAF Squadron captain Vijay Karnik, who was the manager of the Bhuj airport at the time of the war, and details how he saved the area from the Pakistani army by re-building an entire IAF airbase along with the help of 300 women from a local village in Madhapar.

Shakuni is a 2012 Telugu-dubbed Tamil political satire-comedy film starrinf Karthi, Pranitha and Prakash Raj. Kamal comes to Chennai to persuade politicians to stop working on a project that jeopardizes his village. He gets in touch with Bhoopathi, only to find out that he is the one behind the project and also the murder of the former CM. Finally, with his wit and hard work he manages to get Bhoopathi arrested, stop the project and reunite with his love Sridevi.

Baava is a 2010 Telugu drama film starring Siddharth Narayan and Praneetha. The movie is about a carefree boy called Veerababu. Veerababu's father had married a girl from a rich family but was not accepted as the son-in-law. So, he wanted Veerababu to marry into a rich family. Veerababu falls in love with a girl from a nearby village, it later turns out that she is maternal relative and they cannot get married.
