The story is about Karthik who falls in love with a girl named Sruthi at first sight at a friend's wedding. He manages to get her phone number and woo her but later discovers that he has called the wrong girl - Shravya. This leads to some twists and surprises.

Kandireega is a 2011 Telugu romantic comedy film starring Ram and Hansika Motwani. The film was a box office success and was remade in Hindi as Main Tera Hero, with Varun Dhawan. The story revolves around Sreenu, a street-smart boy, who travels to Hyderabad for education, where he falls in love with Shruthi. However, Bhavani, a gangster, already has his eyes on Shruthi and is hell bent to marry her. How will Sreenu rescue Shruthi from Bhavani?
