Based on Spider-Man comics, this is a tale of a scientist who attempts to cure himself of a rare blood disease. As fate would have it, he instead ends up afflicting himself with a condition similar to a vampire including the thirst for blood, fangs and super strength, eventually becoming one of Spider-Man's nemeses.
