The Maratha Emperor Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj orders his loyal general Tanaji Malusare to capture Kondhana and protect Southern India from Mughal invasion. The Mughal emperor sent his trusted commander Uday Bhan to defend the fortress, The battle for the control of the fortress which decided the fate of Southern India is popularly known as the 'Battle of Sinhagad'.
