> Yami Gautam Dhar's Nayyi Navelli releases on October 16 with a U/A 16+ certificate, after the censor board asked for changes that included 57 seconds of her dialogue.

Yami Gautam Dhar's Nayyi Navelli opens in theatres on Friday, October 16. The Central Board of Film Certification has cleared it with a U/A 16+ rating.

The board's examining committee asked for several changes before it passed the film on October 12. A line of dialogue spoken by Mohini, Yami's character, had to be altered every time it came up, which took out 57 seconds of her lines. A visual in the climax and the background score that goes with it were also changed.

Scenes showing masala eating now carry a disclaimer wherever they appear. The makers redrafted the opening disclaimer to say that the film is fiction and that they follow the rules, and added an anti-drug message at the start. The certificate gives the running time as 138 minutes, which is 2 hours and 18 minutes.

Before the release, Yami visited Ayodhya for the first time and prayed at the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple and Hanuman Garhi. She told the media there that she had come with deep devotion and a heart full of emotion. "By the grace of Lord Ram, this year has been very beautiful for my family," she said.

On Instagram, she shared a photo from an aarti at the Sarayu ghat during Navratri and sent good wishes to every film releasing on the same day as hers.
