> On Kon Honaar Crorepati, Yami Gautam told host Madhuri Dixit she was surprised by talk of a big cheque for her Dhurandhar: The Revenge cameo, and said being directed by husband Aditya Dhar was her fee.

Yami Gautam has laughed off talk that she earned a huge cheque for her cameo in Dhurandhar: The Revenge. She says the chance to be directed by her husband, Aditya Dhar, was all the payment she needed.

The topic came up on Kon Honaar Crorepati, the quiz show hosted by Madhuri Dixit, in an episode that has not aired yet. Madhuri told Yami she had watched the film and loved it. Then she asked the obvious question: did the cameo come with a fee, or did Aditya simply ask his wife to step in?

Yami said she was surprised when she heard she had been given a "big fat cheque" for the role. Some things are priceless, she told Madhuri. Aditya wanted her on his set for good luck, she explained, and working under one of the finest directors in the country was her fee.

In the spy thriller, Yami plays Shazia Bano, a nurse who turns out to be an undercover Indian agent working in Pakistan. Her short but key scene is opposite Hamza, the character played by Ranveer Singh.

Aditya's film went on to become a blockbuster. Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal and Sara Arjun are also part of the cast.
