# Vicky Kaushal says fatherhood with Katrina Kaif and son Vihaan makes him feel complete

Vicky Kaushal is enjoying fatherhood, and he is happy to talk about it. The actor and Katrina Kaif became parents to their son Vihaan in November 2025. In a new conversation shared on a jewellery brand's YouTube channel, he spoke about how his life has changed since then.

Vicky said the change is hard to measure or even put into words, and he called the whole experience a "magical feeling". The small things stay with him the most: Vihaan's giggles, his first cry, and every new expression and gesture. People often say humans are never satisfied, he noted, yet over the past 10 months he has felt many times that his life is complete and he wants nothing more.

A big part of that is watching Katrina with their son. When he sees his wife happy while the baby giggles, he wishes he could pause the moment and live in it a little longer, he said. Fatherhood, according to Vicky, has made him "incredibly sensitive" as a person and just as "incredibly responsible", since he now has to practise what he preaches.

That sense of duty has made him watch himself more closely. Vicky explained that a child first learns, without even realising it, from whatever happens at home. So in the last 10 months he has kept a closer eye on his own behaviour than ever before, and he called this his "biggest learning".

The couple announced Vihaan's arrival on November 7, 2025, through an Instagram post, and revealed his full name, Vihaan Kaushal, in January 2026. Since then they have mostly kept their son away from the public eye. Reports say Salman Khan stood up for Katrina on Bigg Boss after trolls targeted her appearance at the Ambani family's Ganpati celebrations, asking why anyone would troll a woman who had just had a baby.

On the work front, Vicky was last seen in Chhaava. He is reportedly set to star in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love & War with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, which is slated for release on January 21, 2027, and is also said to be preparing for Mahavatar, a mythological epic directed by Amar Kaushik. Katrina's last film was reportedly the 2024 thriller Merry Christmas, opposite Vijay Sethupathi and directed by Sriram Raghavan.
