> Aasha, the Malayalam thriller directed by Safar Sanal with Urvashi in the title role, is now streaming on ZEE5, with Joju George, Aishwarya Lekshmi and Vijayaraghavan also in the cast.

Aasha, the Malayalam thriller fronted by Urvashi, is now streaming on ZEE5. Reports say the digital release went live on October 16.

Urvashi plays the title role, a mother who lives with anxiety and a fragile state of mind. One night, a collision with another vehicle on the road drags her into a chain of events she cannot control, and the choices she makes after that only raise the stakes for her and her family.

Joju George, Aishwarya Lekshmi and Vijayaraghavan round out the main cast. Safar Sanal directs, and he wrote the screenplay together with Joju George and Ramesh Girija.

Critics agree on one thing. Urvashi carries the film, and her turn as a woman coming apart under pressure has drawn more praise than anything else in it.
