Actress Urvashi Rautela's team has announced legal action against an artificial intelligence company based in Los Angeles. The team says the firm used her name, images and videos without her permission. It is seeking damages that are currently being assessed at ₹7,000 crore.

The team shared its statement on Instagram on Tuesday and did not hold back. "Build your AI company. Build your brand. But keep Urvashi's name out of your business unless you have permission," it read. The statement did not name the company.

A reply reportedly came from Sheeraz Hasan, founder and CEO of Bollywood.AI and Hollywood.AI, who called the claim ridiculous in his own Instagram post. According to reports, the dispute is tied to a viral interview in which Urvashi was asked what she thought about Bollywood and artificial intelligence. Hasan reportedly said his company did not put words in her mouth, and advised her to learn more about AI and where the business is heading.

He reportedly went further, saying the future belongs to AI films, vertical dramas and digital stars who never age, speak many languages and work around the clock. His message to the actress was that she could fight her answer but not what is coming next.

The case comes as more stars go to court to protect their personality rights. Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Amitabh Bachchan and Salman are among those who have reportedly approached the courts to stop others from misusing their identity.
