"Thanks to Vijayendra Prasad sir for recommending me for the titular role. I wasn't familiar with Tamil Nadu politics and the Tamil film industry. The 'Queen' actress also added that the thing she noticed in the south film industry is that there may be nepotism but there is no groupism, gangism, or bullying in the industry. "The south industry has been very supportive and welcoming. Now that I'm here, I don't want to leave. I hope to do many more movies in the South. I fall short of words when I talk about Vijay sir. I never met a man who made me feel apologetic about my talents. As a director, I learn from him how to treat an actress and also how to create a partnership," said Kangana during the trailer launch event.
