> Producer Abhishek Agarwal says Nikhil Siddhartha's period drama The India House is one of the most expensive films of the actor's career. Ram Charan has joined the project and Shashwat Sachdev has already delivered five songs.

The India House, Nikhil Siddhartha's period drama, is shaping up as one of the most expensive films of his career. Reports say its budget has reached ₹85 crore.

Producer Abhishek Agarwal would not confirm a figure. He said the film needed a big budget because it was shot at foreign locations, and the current schedule is under way in Europe. "It will be a lavish film," he said, and he placed it among the costliest projects Nikhil has done.

Directed by Ram Vamsi Krishna, the film carries the tagline A Tale of Love and Revolution. Saiee Manjrekar is the female lead, and Anupam Kher plays a key role.

The music comes from Shashwat Sachdev, known for his work on Dhurandhar. Abhishek said the composer has already handed over five songs for the period saga, and that the team is glad to bring a talent like him into one report.

Ram Charan is also on board. According to the producer, the director took the star through a detailed narration, and Ram Charan liked the script enough to agree on the spot. "It is great to work with a big star, and things are going well," Abhishek said.
