The actress will star in the filmmaker's next directorial project. They have earlier worked together in Maqbool and Haider.

According to a news agency, [Vishal Bhardwaj](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/vishal-bhardwaj) is set to direct an action-drama and has tied in [Tabu](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/tabu-hashmi) for the same. She agreed to do the project as soon as she heard the script. She has a lot of trust in the filmmaker. This marks their third collaboration. Ali Fazal will be leading the film. The rest of the casting is yet to reveal.
