Putting out a press note or a set of pictures simply felt strange to her.

She admitted that one video from the Udaipur celebrations did leak, and called it "very embarrassing". The actor said it came from a guest her family had invited, not her, someone who ignored the simple request not to post anything. Taking phones away from guests would have been childish, she felt, so she politely asked everyone to keep what they filmed to themselves. Reports say all guests got edited videos of the ceremonies within 24 hours, on the understanding that they would not post them.

Taapsee said a wedding picture is never only about her. Her husband is a sports star, but he is not the kind of public figure she is, and the guests would face scrutiny as well. "I signed up for it," she said, making it clear she did not want to push that pressure onto anyone else.

The actor also reportedly said she has been with Mathias since 2013, the year of her Bollywood debut. She named respect as the base of their 13-year relationship. She joked that since Mathias spends more time in India than in Denmark, the vidaai was really his.

On the work front, reports say Taapsee was recently seen in Assi, a courtroom drama directed by Anubhav Sinha, and Gandhari, an action thriller from Devashish Makhija.
